If you bought your home between 2005-2008, you may be paying too much in property taxes.

Your property taxes are based on the assessed value, which is commonly the purchase price of your home.  Proposition 13 allows the assessed value of real property to increase up to 2% each year.  What many people do not know is if the value of your home is less than the current assessed value, you can appeal for a lower assessment!

The Property Tax Appeal Application requires market data that Coronado Island Realty can provide for you.  Our service includes compiling market data and completing the application paperwork.
