Coronado Unified School District
Coronado Unified School district begin a new decade of service to the island community! The Governing Board has developed a vision for a new method of instruction, for a new way of learning in our Coronado schools. Instruction for the 21st century learner demands the delivery of education must change in order to recreate the delivery of curriculum to leverage digital tools. Using a combination of broadband Internet and personal computing devices, instructors will be assisting students with sorting and evaluating the overwhelming volume of information available by engaging their skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Coronado schools are powering up the classrooms and the students over the next five years with a combination of programs and services that include cloud computing, data warehousing, business intelligence solutions, one computer for each student in all schools, and online instruction for a variety of courses.
Coronado Unified School District is proud of our schools:

- Successful High School WASC 6-year accreditation
- Approximately 90% of students go on to college
- Coronado School of the Arts recognized as a demonstration site for the state
